All music is a reflection of the human experience. Our ideas, collaborations, and advocacy - as performers, composers, and music lovers - are what keep our field relevant. One of my primary goals as a musician is to advance the field with music I find to be thought-provoking, representative of current events, and filled with messages that I think need to be shared. I ask, “What do I want or need music to say? What deserves to be said?”
